Spring Fair is held across 4 days in February at the NEC Birmingham, it is the UK’s most vibrant marketplace for wholesale home, gift and fashion, with exhibitors showcasing the latest products, trends and industry leading insights.
The Brief
How can we fit in 3500 separate items to all displayed on the stand and not make it look a total mess? We also need lots of graphical space to show our ranges. And now here is a big one. You only have two days to build it as we need four days to dress it and we will also need you on site for the full time to help fix everything onto the walls etc. Did I also mention we need some 70 light fittings stringing and of course work and we also need an overhead lighting rig?
The Design
A series of large exterior walls provided the branding spaces to the outside and large amounts of shelving and wall space to the inside with ceiling beams to hold the lighting and tie everything safely together using the smallest area of floor space taken up.
Everything was pre-constructed off site to aid the very tight erection timetable and included starting in the hall and working double shifts from 6AM to 8PM each day to ensure progress was maintained.
