Chosen for both our creative and sensibly budgeted ideas on a multiway pitch we then worked closely with the CDE team and there 2D creative agency to form an overall themed pavilion to explain the unique CDE offering of being able to make usable materials out of rubbish, save costs and the planet and design a facility to inform and educate visitors in this new and outstanding technology.

Nothing was easy. The site had a deep 2-metre-deep drainage gully running across one side and the giant machine could not go there so we had to build there instead! A full steel deck platform was created to form the base for seven Event Cube modules to provide two meeting rooms, a storage area, a classroom and hospitality zone with full kitchen facilities. All these areas were accessed by a raised balcony running along the entire frontage.

A fully co-ordinated graphics scheme and feature entranceway made the whole lot sing despite the weather!
