Role: Based in Wales, Interpreting clients' briefs in the most creative, practical and cost-effective way, Haydn draws up plans for the technical team to build.

Best bit of the job: Always moving on to the next challenge. Live Events design is never repetitive, there's something new all the time.

Secret of our success: I've got a card on the wall from a client that says 'All the visitors were blown away by your design, and once again you've made live event marketing really easy.' That sums it up. We think of everything from the client's point of view. Whether it's our comprehensive and clear pricing, or it's making sure our ideas stack perfectly (we don't leave clients to unpack boxes of sales materials, for example) — we pay attention to every detail.

Role: Based in Wales, Mansel provides support in communications and public affairs for our public and private sector clients right across Wales and the UK. He brings a wealth of media and communications contacts, public relations and event management skills which can be delivered in Welsh or English.

Best Bit of the Job: Helping clients get their message out there, dealing with the media on clients' behalf, securing positive publicity and seeing the benefits it can have on their events.

Secret of our success: We have developed a good business in Wales by establishing offices in Wales with local people on the ground. Local knowledge can’t be beaten and we have that in abundance, making a positive contribution to Wales and the Welsh economy. Wales deserves the best service and Event provides it.

Event - Y gorau yn gyson i Gymru.

Role: Working with the Creative Team - estimating new projects and account management. Responsible for our ISO standards and general project management. Also involved in internal marketing projects.

Best bit of the job: Exceeding client expectations. I enjoy troubleshooting when a client needs help to meet a deadline or solve a problem. It is great to hear when our designs have achieved results.

Tips for great marketing: Never work alone! The best ideas come from working with creative people. You don’t need to have all the answers, talking, sharing and testing it with other creative individuals will make a good idea even better.

Success of Creation? We deliver on time and to budget and can come up with some great ideas a long the way. We are also a friendly team and honest people to work with.

Role: To project from concept through to delivery, liaising with clients and technical teams. Also involved in new business research and sales.

Best bit of the job: I love people and you certainly meet a wide variety of characters in this industry. Also there is always something new and challenging to learn or overcome, that’s what keeps it interesting!

Tip for great marketing: Know your market and your product well and match them to your clients needs in order to deliver great marketing and design that exceeds their expectations - and of course which has the ‘wow’ factor as well!

Role: Admin for live event and planning — booking places, people, sorting out attendance lists, contracts etc. Also handles office administration.

Best bit of the job: The variety — it's nice working on the live events as well as the business.

Top tip for live marketing: Get the right people working for you. It's all about selling, so you need to make sure you can concentrate on that. Work with a company that will take care of everything else, and make your life as easy as possible.

Secret of our success: The quality of our product sets us apart — everything we design and create is of a really high standard, and our service is excellent. Not the cheapest, but excellent value for money.

Role: To optimise all opportunities within our current client portfolio and to enhance and grow the business, within all market sectors.

Best bit of the job: Diversity - the variety of people and places we discover. The day to day challenge and the ability to deliver what the designers have created. Seeing the designs come to life, and the clients' smiles when they see the finished product.

Tip for a great marketing: Know what you want, know how to achieve it, know how to deliver it, and work together as one team!

Secret of our success: We go above and beyond our clients expectations, and have solved the problem before it becomes one ! Being professional from start to finish making sure we ALL deliver a first class job from conception to completion.

Role: To help improve the efficiency of the company whilst also creating additional business by seeking out new clients, especially those working overseas.

Best bit of the job: Never knowing which part of the world, with which company and with which product brand you will be dealing with next. As well as bringing a creative concept for an event / exhibition to life and successfully putting a smile on the client’s face on completion.

Top tip: Define your key objectives and the logistics needed to achieve your goal. Typical objectives might be to increase sales through new orders or to introduce new products or services. These objectives provide direction for the marketing strategies, branding initiatives, the budget, design / build of an exhibition stand, graphics, products, literature, IT support and the staff needed to see the project to a successful conclusion.

Role: Manages projects for our clients, from initial briefing to completion. Advises clients on industry best practice. Strong print background means Nick oversees the implementation of all print projects.

Best bit of the job: When a job's been delivered, and the client's happy. Even better when they come back in a few months time and tell us their sales have risen by x % — that they've achieved their goals.

Tip for great design: Keep the message clear and simple.

Secret of our success: We listen to what clients want and we make sure we deliver. We're very easy to get on with. Our clients trust our advice — they know we'll always suggest the route that's best for them.

Role: Finding clients and running the company. Involved in the creative side of projects alongside making sure we're working well as a business.

Best bit of the job: Results. There's a lot of vanity our business — people want the biggest, the flashiest — but what's most important is that we deliver the best sales opportunities. Money well spent makes me happy — when a client puts in 10 and gets back 100 — seeing real results for clients is good.

Tip for great marketing: Be clear about what you're selling. Understand your customers, and see your product from their point of view. Our perspective and experience offers clients valuable insight into customer behaviour — we help clients get the offer right.

Role: Working on projects from initial brief to completion. Working on both digital and print projects.

Best bit of the job: I like the variety of work. Staying ahead of new design developments and new technologies is important — I like learning new things and putting them into practice.

Top tip for great design: It needs to work, be visually appealing and fit for purpose.

Secret of our success: We're a very open minded company, both in terms of clients and portfolio. We design for a huge variety of clients with varying projects, and that diversity keeps it current.

Role: Rob is the lead graphic designer, working on projects from initial brief to completion. Highly experienced in print, digital and live event graphics, Rob also liaises with clients and art directs marketing photo shoots.

Best bit of the job: Coming up with the initial concepts is still the most exciting part of a designers job. Obviously I like seeing the completed project, and knowing my work has helped them achieve their goal, but you can't beat working on your sketch pad, and knowing you've come up with something that captures a client's brand, and that will really work.

Secret of our success: We ask clients the right questions to get the right answers. Understanding what our clients need, means we can help them achieve their goals.

Role: Project manages the exhibition stands, liaising between clients and technical teams. Also involved in new business research and sales.

Best bit of the job: Speaking to clients. I love hearing about their new products, finding out what they do, learning about their businesses. It's great to share their successes, and to know that we've helped.

Tip for a great marketing: It can be difficult for a new client to know where to exhibit. I've got a really good overview of which shows work best for which sectors, so I'm able to advise new clients of the right one to choose.

Secret of our success: It's all about the people. We're not a big company,
but we're all experienced and very professional. Everyone takes the job very personally. Our clients are genuinely important to us — we all want to do the
best for them.

Role: Role involves taking a client’s brief and developing it into a creative, innovative and achievable design. This involves the production of concept sketches, 3D computer model, visuals, animations and detailed construction drawings.

Best bit of the job: Starting out with a blank sheet of paper (or blank computer screen, these days) and ending up with something that answers the brief in a fresh and exciting way. No two clients, no two designs, are ever the same. That’s where the excitement lies.

Tip for great marketing: Understand your brand: your live event presence is an extension and an expression of your brand’s identity and values. Make sure it says the right things about you. And finally, never be afraid to try something new!

Role: Andy manages the planning and execution for our Live Events marketing. Draws up detailed plans, sorts every detail, decides on best methods of construction. A background in event construction means he really knows his stuff. Andy also handles most of our overseas live events.

Best bit of the job: The handover. It's a real buzz when the client sees our work for the first time. Although they'll have seen all the design, and concpets, it's not the same as seeing the real thing.

Tip for a great marketing: Detailed planning. I like to have plans B,C, D and E up my sleeve in case things don't work out the way I wanted. I'd say that for a client at a live event, planning is everything too. Think about how you're going to spend your time, what your potential customers want, and make sure you organise your team to deliver.

We approach websites and digital projects with a strong focus on functionality. Users should always know where to go next. Our sites are intuitive, clean, and they get results.

Well presented audiovisuals are invaluable for big audience presentations, giving you the time to break your message down into bite-sized chunks and tell a story at a pace right for your delegates.

Slick presentations are more than great sales tools they work well for training too, and we can tailor them to fit your audience and brand. Interactive exhibition stands pull people in, if the experience is engaging and rewarding, and the message is right.
