The Show

The Brief

We need a large fully enclosed ‘private viewing’ stand design to showcase the new ranges of products of the leading brands that we represent to invited and qualified show visitors. And by the way its to showcase over 3000 products from 65 differing manufacturers and most are ‘kept under wraps’ and these all-need shelving systems and about 25 AV screens. And that’s 65 differing artwork end clients that must be dealt with and they always artwork wise run very late.  And we bring in a full range of secret details the day before that need affixing last minute.

The Design

Working to complex closed stand rules means having to inset viewing windows into the curtain walling to provide clear fire safety sight lines. However, this means that all the sensitive shown items have to be very carefully considered position wise.  Build and breakdown timings are very short, and Olympia now has multiple access challenges during its re-build. This coupled with the client having a very large and time-consuming job to merchandise the stand means that design from the very first line must be very carefully considered so that all parties can achieve the end goal.

The Delivery

Choosing our sectional Maxima aluminium frame system as the main build construction ensured quick, precise and an excellent quality result that also allows flexibility for on-site customisation of the 250 or so shelving units to allow for all the differing sizes of the product and its packaging.  Large scale fabric graphics provided great scenic opportunities and created a real buzz inside of the pavilion.
